Lunar Dreambook is built to respect your privacy.

What we store. Your journal is stored locally by default. If a Premium subscriber explicitly enables iCloud, journal entries, conversations, profile, symbol notes, and cached recaps are copied to their private CloudKit database. Drafts, consent, app lock settings, analytics preferences, and the free-reading counter never sync.

AI features. Only after consent, the current dream and selected details are sent through our service to Anthropic to create an interpretation. If you enable history or personal context, up to five compact prior summaries and the context you entered may also be sent. Follow-up questions and recap source entries are sent only when you request those features. We do not retain dream text, questions, context, or AI responses on our servers, use them for advertising, or use them to train AI models.

Anonymous product analytics. After a one-time notice, content-free interaction events may be sent to our service. They can include app version, language, subscription state, entry kind, trigger, result, error category, and numeric latency. They never include dream text, questions, responses, moods, symbols, tags, people, places, dream dates, or personal context. The random install identifier is irreversibly hashed with a server secret; analytics are not linked to identity and are not used for tracking. You can disable analytics at any time in Settings.

Abuse prevention. A random per-install identifier and source network address are used transiently for rate limits. Network addresses are not written to product analytics.

Subscriptions. Purchases are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.

Your control. You can export a readable PDF or versioned JSON archive, delete the private CloudKit copy while keeping local data, or delete both local and cloud data from Settings. Deleting the app removes local data. For anything else, contact dzmitry.dziachenka@gmail.com.
